Mila is a private demo. This page describes exactly what it does with your data.

What happens when you check a message

The text or screenshot you submit is sent through this site's server to Anthropic's Claude API, which analyses it and returns a verdict. Anthropic processes it under its own terms (Anthropic privacy policy). Mila does not store the message text or the screenshot. Please don't submit passwords, PINs or card numbers.

What Mila keeps

• Counts only: how many free checks a device has used, how many checks came from a connection today, today's total cost, and how many checks ended as scam, be careful or safe.
• Device identifiers and IP addresses are stored only as one-way keyed hashes, never in the clear. Per-connection counts are deleted daily.
• Anonymous usage events (verdict type, language, text or screenshot) without any message content.

Cookies

Two functional cookies, no tracking or advertising: mila_s keeps you signed in with the access code for 12 hours; mila_d identifies this device for the 5 free checks. The chosen language is remembered in your browser's local storage.

Family, two phones live

Alerts pass between the two paired phones through the site's server while both are connected. They are not stored; a phone that isn't connected misses them.

Hosting

Mila runs on Cloudflare, which processes connection data to deliver the site (Cloudflare privacy policy). Fonts are served from this site; no Google Fonts or third-party trackers are loaded.
